With 50 years of dance experience, Tamalyn guides dancers through the rich world of taqsim interpretation, rhythmic exploration, and instrumental improvisation, helping you respond to the music with greater nuance, confidence, and emotional depth. You’ll explore the voices of captivating Arabic instruments, learn how to translate their textures into movement, and expand your improvisational vocabulary. To keep things lively, Tamalyn also brings her signature approach to zill instruction through playful games, making finger cymbals both joyful and musically intuitive.
